Vans for hire with SixtYou can choose from six van sizes with load capacities which range from 550kg to 1410kg. Sixt Van Hire provide both the Ford Transit Connect SWB and LWB. When it was launched in 2002, the Connect quickly became a favourite with van users. Slightly larger than many models in its class, it also took some of the business from the larger transit sized vehicles due to its capacity. The Connect was also designed for comfort and the driving position enabled drivers to get a good view of the road ahead.. With a smooth ride and excellent handling capabilities, the Ford Transit Connect is excellent for multi drop use on long and short journeys. Also on the Sixt van fleet is the Ford Transit, a vailable in a number of configurations the Ford Transit is ideal for the majority of jobs and explains why one in four vans on the road is a Ford Transit. In recent years the Ford Transit has undergone a number of redesigns internally and externally, and vans are available from 2.6 to 4.3 tonnes. Improved safety features plus a car-like driving experience make the Ford Transit the vehicle of choice for people wishing to hire a van. However, another option available from Sixt Van Rental is the Volkswagen Crafter, which shares many similarities with the Mercedes Sprinter. It offers the best accommodation in its class and has exceptionally good visibility. The modern suspension ensures less body roll and a smooth drive. Sixt Van Rental offer several versions of the LDV Convoy, including the Luton Tail Lift which with more modest power output than some vans, are excellent for transporting more delicate furniture and belongings when moving flat or house. The LDV Convoy Dropside or Crewcab Dropside and the Convoy Tipper are very useful for moving large, heavy loads and are ideal as workhorses which are also surprisingly comfortable to drive. Sixt so not guarantee the actual make and model of the van when booking. |
